Description

The Spectacular Rosecliff Mansion of Newport, Rhode Island has been replicated as a functional birdhouse, created for the Preservation Society of Newport County and the Newport Mansions.org.

Originally built in 1902 for Nevada Silver Heiress Theresa Fair Oelrichs, the house hosted many fabulous Gilded Age entertainments.

Architect Sanford White modeled Rosecliff after the Grand Trianon, the garden retreat of the French Kings of Versaille.

Today, the house is the preferred choice for the grandest of extravanga’s or the ultimate society wedding.

This Bird Mansion has 2 bird entry holes (each side) of 1.25″. The bottom can be removed for cleanout. The birdhouse has drainage and ventilation.

An interior center wall inside divides the house into 2 separate nest boxes.

Perfect for common nesting birds : wrens, finches, chickadees, nuthatches, and titmice.

Requires a post for mounting. (NOT Included)

DIMS: 6.33” H x 15.50” W x 8.00” D
